Peggy Huang’s Statement on Pelosi Impeachment Stunt
Huang calls Speaker of the House Pelosi’s actions political, unbecoming
IRVINE, CA --- Peggy Huang released the following statement regarding Tuesday’s announcement by U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi on opening an impeachment inquiry into the Presidency of Donald J Trump.
"It is sad, but not surprising to see the Leader of the Democrats in the U.S. House go so far as to turn an important Constitutional tool into a partisan political stunt," Huang said. "This is just the latest in ongoing actions, frankly unbecoming of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, that Nancy Pelosi has engaged in solely to satisfy the radical democrat fringe in her party, which now includes Rep. Katie Porter"
"The American People deserve a Congress that serves in their best interest, focuses on the work of the federal government, and remains committed to the promises made when sent to Washington D.C.: national security, public safety, immigration enforcement, and healthcare reform. Nancy Pelosi and Katie Porter have broken that promise and instead have chosen politics over people. "
