Peggy Huang Receives Endorsements From Orange County Education Leaders
Huang endorsed by Orange County Board of Education Trustees Barke and Williams in her campaign for the 45th Congressional District
IRVINE, CA --- Peggy Huang today announced that she has received the endorsement of Orange County Board of Education Trustee Mari Barke and Orange County Board of Education Trustee Dr. Ken Williams in her bid for the U.S House of Representatives for the 45th Congressional District of Southern California.
“I have great respect for the leadership of both Trustee Barke and Trustee Williams,” Huang said. “I am honored to have their support and endorsement as we move forward in this campaign together.”
The Orange County Department of Education supports 27 school districts and more than 600 schools and 20,000 teachers. The department serves over a half-million children in Orange County.
Mari Barke was elected to the Orange County Board of Education in 2018 and represents the 2nd district. Dr. Ken Williams has served the Orange County Board of Education since 1996 and was re-elected in 2016 to represent the 3rd district.
The 45th Congressional District of California includes the cities of Irvine, Tustin, North Tustin, Lake Forest, Laguna Woods, Laguna Hills, Villa Park, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Coto de Caza, and portions of the cities of Anaheim and Orange.
