Peggy Huang Endorsed by Make Cali Great
Grassroots organization with over 30,000 followers support Peggy Huang’s campaign for U.S. Congress
IRVINE, CA – Peggy Huang announced today the endorsement of the California grassroots organization Make Cali Great, LLC. The announcement further demonstrates a deep support among volunteers and "boot on the ground" foot soldiers in Peggy Huang’s effort to reclaim Orange County’s 45th Congressional District.
"It’s an honor to have the endorsement of Make Cali Great, " Huang said. "I started in politics as a grassroots volunteer and still consider myself one. To have the backing of my fellow volunteers is truly special."
Started in 2016 by conservative activist Rachel Gunther, Make Cali Great is a social network of over 30,000 supporters and followers, including a large Facebook presence, whose goal is to give Californians and every other American the intellectual ammunition they need to promote and defend conservative, traditional American values.
"We can no longer afford to sit back and watch as our country slips away; we must fight back. We have to fight on the front lines on social media," said Rachel Gunther of Make Cali Great. "Peggy Huang is the best candidate for the 45th district. Peggy will get the right messages to the right places and she will reach the right people at the right time."
Peggy Huang has received the endorsement of Orange County Third District Supervisor Donald Wagner, former California State Assemblywoman Young Kim, California State Senator Ling Ling Chang and California State Assemblyman Phillip Chen. In addition, scores of local city elected officials throughout Orange County have endorsed Peggy.
The 45th Congressional District of California includes the cities of Irvine, Tustin, North Tustin, Lake Forest, Laguna Woods, Laguna Hills, Villa Park, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Coto de Caza, and portions of the cities of Anaheim and Orange.
