Former Assemblywoman Young Kim Endorses Peggy Huang
Kim joins list of rising stars in support of Peggy Huang and her campaign for the 45th Congressional District
IRVINE, CA --- Peggy Huang announced today the endorsement of former California State Assemblywoman Young Kim. Young Kim, herself a candidate for U.S. Congress in the 39th district of Southern California, joins a growing list of rising stars in California leadership who have added their endorsement of Peggy Huang and her campaign.
"I know Peggy Huang, she is a dear friend." Kim said. "Her strength, determination, and passion are unmatched, and I am proud to endorse her campaign. In Congress, she will be a leader, a fighter, and a true representative for the families in her district."
Young Kim was elected to the California State Assembly in November of 2014 where she served on the Assembly Banking and Finance Committee, Assembly Budget Committee, and the Assembly Committee on Education. Previously Young Kim served as key aide and senior adviser to U.S. Congressman Ed Royce, heading up the Congressman's community liaison team and director of Asian affairs.

Young Kim joins California State Assemblyman Phillip Chen, California State Senator Ling Ling Chang and Orange County Supervisor Donald Wagner, all of whom endorsed Peggy Huang and her candidacy.
The 45th Congressional District of California includes the cities of Irvine, Tustin, North Tustin, Lake Forest, Laguna Woods, Laguna Hills, Villa Park, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Coto de Caza, and portions of the cities of Anaheim and Orange.
